EXCLUSIVE: VMI Worldwide has boarded On the Hunt (fka Hunt Mode), the Jared Cohen (Deadlock) action flick, in time for a Cannes Market launch.
As we told you in February, the film stars Nicky Whelan as an Tammy Fenton, an ex-special forces operative who discovers her daughter has been abducted by a ruthless human trafficking ring. She launches an all-out mission to bring her home, aided by a former military comrade (Timothy V. Murphy). Fenton navigates navigates the criminal underworld, unearthing a web of corruption extending from the streets of Los Angeles to high-powered officials.
Starring alongside Whelan and Murphy are Til Schweiger, Cam Gigandet and Rampage Jackson.

Audiences will see what happens when someone trained to survive war brings that fury home.”
VMI – whose recent titles have included the Danny DeVito and Andie MacDowell starrer A Sudden Case of Christmas and Jon Hamm pic Corner Office – is planning to introduce the film to buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.
The deal was negotiated by Andre Relis and Jessica Russo on behalf of VMI and Vaagn Sarkissian on behalf of Usatv Production.
Sarkissian (American Skin) is producing On the Hunt through his Usatv Production/VABA Productions banner.
