Newcastle gives Benjamin Sesco a deadline to make his transfer decision, and Manchester United will not bid during that time.
Magpies had a bid worth 80 million euros, rejected by Sesko’s RB Leipzig, as Bundesliga Club was not satisfied with the structure of the transaction despite the magpies reaching valuation.
Sky Germany reporter Philip Hins on Monday claimed Manchester United was ready to “match” the asking price of 80 million euros and Leipzig “welcomes a possible bid war.”
Hinze writes to X: Sesko’s agent is still in Leipzig. Negotiations are underway. As reported, Manchester United are ready to match Newcastle’s offer.
‘It all depends on Sesco. The best situation for Leipzig. Newcastle’s offer was attractive to Leipzig, but the payment structure must be adjusted.
However, any move depends on Sesko’s decision, and Bild claimed later Monday that the Slovenians “said they just wanted to join both clubs.”
It is said that Newcastle wants clarity “quickly” and that the report claims it has set a “short deadline” for potential transfers, and Talksport offers more information on its ultimatum.
“Newcastle is hoping for an answer from Benjamin Sesco. Talksport understands whether he wants to be in within 48 hours.”
Build says it will only make an offer if Sesco rejects Newcastle and “commits” to the Red Devils, and the striker is said to “slightly prefer” the move to Old Trafford.
Reuben Amorim wants to add a new striker to his rank after he’s far from Rasmus Hozilund’s persuasive exhibit.

Football finance expert Stefan Borson claims United is setting itself for a “disaster” by signing Sesko.
Speaking to a football insider, Boson said:
“It’s £690 million for the 22-year-old striker, and if that goes well, he’s three times more worth it by the time he had the top striker of the decade.
“If that fails, it’s very difficult for United to know in any way because they have a different disaster, because they know they have an overall continuation of failed forwards they’ve bought over the past few years.
“They have to be able to build bets and hopes, and Sesco falls into that category.”
