Universal’s Wicked, which will fly past the $400M mark this week at the domestic box office, has set a digital release in homes of Dec. 31. The Jon M. Chu directed Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande musical will be available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox and Microsoft movies.
The 4x Golden Globe nominated movie including (Best Motion Picture Musical/Comedy) will hit 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD on Feb. 4, 2025.
The digital version will include a sing along version and a 40-minute journey through Oz along with deleted and extended scenes.
Based on the stage play with music and lyrics by the legendary Grammy and Oscar® winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz, WICKED is expertly directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights).
