Amazon is bring back its Prime Experience – Prime Video’s annual Emmy FYC activation – for another run.
The streamer is returning to NYA West, which is where it held its 2024 edition, between May 4 – 22. It will invite members of the TV Academy and other Hollywood guilds to “step behind the curtain for an immersive, in-depth look at the creative process” of shows such as The Boys, The Lord of the Rings, Étoile and Cross.
There will be a ballet-inspired museum installation featuring curated visuals, props, and production design to promote Étoile and two immersive spaces related to The Boys: a resistance-themed Starlight House, and the propaganda-fueled Truthbomb News Studio;
The latter will allow guests to browse a bookcase filled with scripts, take a VFX photo op, sit at a director’s station featuring behind-the-scenes footage of The Boys director Eric Kripke at work, and take home self-help pamphlets featuring production design imagery.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power fans will find Celebrimbor’s Forge, a split-space installation—one side a pristine vision, the other a crumbling reality, where they can recreate the moment when Celebrimbor drops the Rings of Power into the fire as well as come face-to-face with an Orc.
Featured FYC panels will include The Better Sister, Étoile, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Another Simple Favor, #1 Happy Family USA, Cross, The Boys and Overcompensating.
Deadline is a partner on this year’s event, launching an exclusive Deadline Studio at Prime Experience.
