Coleman comes from Warners where he recently worked on this year’s second highest grossing MPA title A Minecraft Movie ($955M), as well as the Dune franchise ($1.1 billion), and Warners’ highest grossing movie ever, Barbie ($1.44 billion) and he’ll report to Kroll, and work closely with distribution and the studio’s Head of Film Marketing, Stephen Bruno. Coleman will work from London.

Hi everyone,
As we continue building out our international distribution infrastructure to support our rapidly growing slate of films, I’m thrilled to share that Charlie Coleman will be joining us as Head of International Theatrical Marketing. He will officially start on August 18 following his departure from Warner Bros., and will report directly to me, working closely with Stephen Bruno and the distribution and PR teams. He will be based in London.
Charlie is an exceptional executive with deep expertise in global marketing and a passion for storytelling that resonates across cultures. Over his tenure at Warner Bros., he has led the international marketing campaigns for some of the most successful and culturally significant films in the world—including Barbie, Elvis, Dune, The Batman, and A Minecraft Movie, to name a few. He is highly regarded for his strategic approach, creativity, and collaborative leadership style. Prior to Warner Bros., Charlie worked in various roles at The Walt Disney Company between London and Los Angeles.
This hire marks an important next step as we continue to scale our global marketing capabilities. I also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work this team has done over the past year. Your dedication and talent do not go unnoticed.
Charlie’s leadership, combined with the outstanding work already happening across this team, positions us to continue raising the bar as we bring our films to audiences worldwide.
Please join me in welcoming Charlie to Amazon MGM Studios. I can’t wait for you all to meet him.
Sue
