EXCLUSIVE: Indian author, broadcaster and producer Amish Tripathi has inked with Artist International Group for management. One of India’s most celebrated contemporary writers with Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra Series to his credit, Tripathi is looking to broaden his vast following beyond his home country.
The groundbreaking Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra Series became the fastest-selling and second-fastest selling book series respectively in Indian publishing history, and his novels have collectively sold over 8 million copies and have been translated into more than 20 languages worldwide.
Tripathi continues to build a cultural universe rooted in mythology, history, and Indian identity. He is currently serving as Creative Director on Shri Radha Ramanam, a UK-India-U.S. co-production from CreativeLand Studios. Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the reimagining of the tale of Lord Krishna is slated for international release in 2026.
In the unscripted space, Tripathi has produced some of the most successful documentaries in India over the last few years, with Warner Bros Discovery, Jio Hotstar and NDTV. He also entered the interactive entertainment space in 2024, partnering with Tara Gaming Limited, acting legend Amitabh Bachchan and Ubisoft veteran Nouredine Abboud to cofound the upcoming AAA video game The Age of Bharat.
Founded in 2017 by CEO David Unger, Artist International Group’s roster also includes Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Julia Ormond, Anil Kapoor, Jordi Molla, Camille Razat, Tayme Thapthimthong, Gong Li, Fan Bingbing and Rossy de Palma, as well as writer-directors including Timur Bekmambetov, Ludovic Bernard and Tony Kaye.
