The first Twenty20 between Australia and India was called off due to rain in Canberra, with the tourists playing less than half their allotted overs and ending with a total of 97-1.
Shubman Gill was not out on 37 and skipper Suryakumar Yadav was unbeaten on 39 when the second and final match of the first match of the five-match series was called off after 9.4 overs on Wednesday.

India opener Abhishek Sharma had completed the 19th over with a pass from Nathan Ellis to Tim David in the middle off, but light rain forced play to end for the first time and the match was shortened to 18 overs.
