EXCLUSIVE: CAA has signed Run-A-Muck Media, the company founded by Pamela Drucker Mann, Ilene Chaiken and Jennifer Beals.
Launched in February, Run-A-Muck has a mission to transform bold storytelling into cultural phenomena and monetized franchises across all platforms.
“The media and entertainment landscape is undergoing seismic transformation and audience demand for boundary-pushing storytelling has never been greater. We founded Run-A-Muck to be the solution for audiences and creators who no longer think about content in a single-channel way, but instead as a world of entertainment for consumers to experience,” said Mann, CEO and Co-Founder of Run-A-Muck. “This is a new way of telling stories that meets audiences where they are and builds direct relationships and community across multiple channels.”
Run-A-Muck has also formed an advisory board made up of Kelly Granat, co-Chief Investment Officer of Lone Pine Capital; Jenna Menking, Founder of Crosswalk Technologies; and Kara Swisher, Host of On with Kara Swisher and co-host of Pivot podcasts.
Audiences today are consuming content on multiple platforms at the same time — 85% of viewers use a second screen while watching streaming content. Run-A-Muck’s plan is to leverage these consumer and industry trends by focusing on building audiences through multichannel worlds across a range of media platforms.
The company is also represented by attorney Patti Felker and Perkins Coie.
