They’re billing Diamond Moving as a writer-driven, creator-led studio focused on the global market.
The hire of Pompa is part of a plan to begin distributing and building out Diamond Moving’s IP internationally. She is known for playing a key role in the format adaptations of key Paramount scripted shows, including the Netflix India remake of Ray Donovan, Rana Naidu, which now on its second season. On the unscripted side, Pompa had success shopping the likes of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! into Europe, the Middle East, India and Latin America as formats.

“I’m thrilled to join Diamond Moving Pictures at such an exciting time,” said Pompa. “The company’s commitment to writer-driven content and global storytelling resonates deeply with my passion for bringing exceptional programming to audiences worldwide. I look forward to leveraging my international experience to help Diamond Moving Pictures’ impressive slate of original series and proven formats reach their full global potential.”
Kelton, Diamond Moving’s CEO, told Deadline today that the new company had been “moving so quickly” since its launch and that news on license deals and sales in various territories will be shared “soon.”
