Gordon Ramsay is taking things up another level.
Fox has renewed his cooking show Next Level Chef for two more seasons. The deal brings the show through to Season 6.
In addition, the network is launching a spinoff – Next Level Baking – that will air as a four-part holiday special.
It’s not rare for Ramsay – one of Fox’s key talents with a number of shows on air – to receive a double order. In 2023, the network cooked up a two season order through Season 4, which is currently airing on Thursday nights at 8pm.
Next Level Chef stars Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais. It features a culinary gauntlet, set on a stage over three stories high, which each floor containing a different kitchen, ranging from the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement. The ingredients available will match the environment of each level. The trio will each recruit a group of the talented chefs and take them under their wings. One competitor can walk away with a $250,000 grand prize.
Since Season 3, Next Level Chef, which is produced by Irish producer BiggerStage and Studio Ramsay, has filmed at Ashford Studios in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is one of a number of Fox’s unscripted series that films in the country. It is exec produced by Ramsay and Matt Cahoon.
Meanwhile, Next Level Baker will test the skills of bakers as they are challenged to create festive holiday delights across the franchise’s three iconic levels with one baker claiming the holiday crown.
