EXCLUSIVE: Jurassic World Rebirth is juicing up the rest of the franchise on Peacock.
Since the summer blockbuster hit theaters on July 2, the Jurassic Park franchise has seen a 51% increase in viewing hours week-over-week, Deadline can reveal exclusively.
Jurassic World Dominion, the previous outing in the franchise, has seen some particularly dino-sized gains with a 186% boost in viewing hours in the week immediately following the newest film’s New York premiere on June 23.
Even before Rebirth‘s theatrical release, that premiere event also rejuvenated the franchise’s overall viewing as well as audiences geared up to head to the cinema. In the week following the New York jaunt, franchise viewing increased a whopping 82% week-over-week.
“Jurassic World Rebirth is a true summer blockbuster event driving audiences to theaters, and we’re thrilled to see them craving even more from this beloved franchise on Peacock. As the streaming home of the Jurassic empire, Peacock is the place for fans to discover and rediscover these iconic films,” Jenny Storms, Chief Marketing Officer, NBCUniversal Television & Streaming, said in a statement Thursday.
Jurassic World Rebirth is currently in theaters. The flick recently crossed $600 million at the global box office, becoming the fourth biggest film of 2025 globally. In China, particularly, Jurassic World Rebirth is the biggest studio film of 2025 and to-date.
The film builds upon the five already existing films, kicked off with Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic Jurassic Park starring Laura Dern, Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough. Jonathan Bailey and Scarlett Johansson lead the fourth film alongside Mahershala Ali.
