Liz Wise Lyall is returning to Lifetime – 15 years after she left.
Wise Lyall has been appointed SVP, Scripted Programming and Development at the A+E Networks channel. It comes after she left The CW last year as it went through a round of layoffs.
She will oversee the network’s movie production strategy and scripted co-productions, overseeing development and execution of original films, as well as strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
Before joining The CW in 2010, Wise Lyall worked on Lifetime movies including The Pregnancy Pact with Thora Birch, To Be Fat Like Me starring Kaley Cuoco and Girl, Positive with Jennie Garth as well as projects with Gale Ann Hurd, Garth Brooks and Salma Hayak.
At The CW, she was most recently SVP, Head of Scripted Programming, where she managed current programming, scripted development, and international co-productions. She worked on series such as Riverdale, Arrow, Superman & Lois, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The 100, and iZombie as well as Wild Cards and upcoming series Good Cop Bad Cop.
