Just as with the Spanish-language Culpables films, the UK adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling books will be a trilogy.
Prime Video has confirmed Your Fault: London and Our Fault: London will follow the recently-released My Fault London, which was an English-version of 2023 YA feature Culpa Mia. Given the success of the franchise, the greenlights are no surprise at all.
Banks (Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) and Broome (The Buccaneers) will reprise their roles as Noah and Nick, respectively, for the sequels. Your Fault will adapt Ron’s second book, Culpa Tuya, and Our Fault will adapt the third, Culpa Nuestra.
Management and producer 42 will begin production on the first sequel this month, and the films will release globally in more than 240 countries and territories.
Earlier today, we revealed the trailer for the upcoming Culpa Nuestra has become the most-watched ever for a streaming movie, with 163 million views across all platforms the week after the teaser dropped, according to independent data. The film launches on Prime Video in October.
Culpa Tuya became Prime Video’s largest-ever international original last year, hitting the number one spot in more than 170 countries.
My Fault: London, meanwhile, launched on February 13 as a co-production between Ingenious Media, 42 and Amazon MGM Studios.
