EXCLUSIVE: Paramount+ with Showtime announced on Monday that the post-apocalyptic romance Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding) and Steven Yeun (Minari), will begin streaming on the service on Monday, June 16.
Love Me was released theatrically last January by Bleecker Street and Shivhans Pictures following it premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where the project was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize. Coming to Paramount+ with Showtime via Bleecker Street’s ongoing deal with the streamer, the film sees a buoy and a satellite meet online long after humanity’s extinction. As they learn what life was like on Earth, they discover who they are and what it means to be alive and in love.
The film, blending live-action and animation, marks the feature debut of writer-directors Sam & Andy Zuchero. Pic is produced by ShivHans Pictures, 2AM, AgX, Kevin Rowe, Luca Borghese, Ben Howe, Shivani Rawat and Julie Goldstein. Daniel Bekerman, Christine D’Souza Gelb and Connor Flanagan served as executive producers.
