EXCLUSIVE: Meg Mortimer, a longtime rep of actors and writers who’s most recently served as a partner at Authentic Talent and Literary Management, has retired after many happy decades in the entertainment industry.
Mortimer came to Authentic following a period as partner at Principal Entertainment. During her time at Authentic, she worked with notable talents including Karen Allen, Nonso Anozie, Michiel Huisman, Chukwudi Iwiji, Hilarie Burton Morgan, Celeste O’Connor, Xosha Roquemore, Phillipa Soo and Daniel Sunjata.
Prior to Principal, Mortimer founded the talent agency Ambrosio/Mortimer at age 26, seeing it quickly take off with a reputation for repping a top-tier list of clients including Angela Bassett, Steve Buscemi, Edie Falco, Samuel L. Jackson and Alfred Molina. Other clients she’s worked with over the years include Michael Arden, Cynthia Erivo, David Harbour, James Ponsoldt, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, to name just a few.
Throughout her career, Mortimer has been recognized as having a sharp eye and for her passionate and creative advocacy for her clients. She is also extremely proud of the large diaspora of colleagues that she has actively mentored throughout her career.
