EXCLUSIVE: Rob Roy, This Boys Life and Memphis Belle director Michael Caton-Jones is set to helm Eternity from scribes King Orba and Rachel Robinson-Zetzer with a story from Orba.
Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean, Eternity follows the story of a charming conman who becomes romantically entangled with a powerful, wealthy woman. Williams of Diamond Film Productions (Den of Thieves franchise, American Traitor) is also producing with Jon Mason of JMason Entertainment, and Jeanette Volturno, founding partner of CatchLight Studios. Volturno has produced over 95 movies, including Heretic and The Invisible Man.
Veteran Casting Director Nancy Nayor (Companion, Don’t Move, Barbarian) is set to assemble the cast, with full casting announcements expected soon. Principal photography is scheduled to begin later this year in Greece, Italy, and Capri.
“Working with Michael Caton-Jones on Eternity is a thrilling opportunity, as it builds upon his impressive legacy of directing both historical epics like Rob Roy and suspenseful thrillers such as The Jackal,” said producers Jon Mason and Jeanette Volturno. “His extensive experience and the talented production team behind this project make Eternity poised to deliver a truly exceptional cinematic experience.”
