The story follows two brother bears who discover they’ve been hibernating through the biggest party of the year. Mortal Media‘s Blake Griffin, Ryan Kalil, and Noah Weinstein will serve as producers.
Primarily focused on comedy and animation, Schacter recently worked on the Paramount+ Sonic spin-off series Knuckles and also has experience writing for Comedy Central, Warner Bros, Netflix, Sony, and more. Founded by former All-Pro NFL center Kalil and former NBA All-Star Griffin, Mortal Media recently released the Apple TV+ sci-fi dramedy Hello Tomorrow! starring Billy Crudup, and a reboot of White Men Can’t Jump for 20th/Hulu starring Jack Harlow. Mortal’s slate also includes a sequel to The Rocketeer at Disney; Get Buckets, a comedy series created by Stephen Falk for Fox; an adaptation of Konami’s cult classic video game Contra; as well as various projects with major studios and networks such as Netflix, Amazon, Max, Hulu, The CW, and Paramount. The company has a multi-year first-look deal with Sony Pictures for film and television and is repped by WME and Ziffren Brittenham.
