Father-and-son duo, Lost co-showrunner Carlton Cuse and Nick Cuse (Masters of the Air, Station Eleven) are in very early development on a Star Wars series from Lucasfilm, sources confirm to Deadline.
No details on the project are being revealed. This marks father-and-son’s first project together.
Prolific Emmy-winning writer-producer Carlton Cuse served as co-showrunner with Damon Lindelof on Lost which aired on ABC for six seasons. He recently created and served as showrunner for the first two seasons on Prime Video’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. He also developed, with John Ridley, Five Days At Memorial for Apple TV+ and developed and served as writer, director, and showrunner (with Meredith Averill) on Locke & Key, based on the graphic novels by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. His other credits include Bates Motel, The Strain, Colony, Nash Bridges, Martial Law, and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Nick Cuse worked with Lindelof on Watchmen and The Leftovers. His other credits include writer-co-executive producer on Station Eleven and consulting producer on Masters of the Air.
