The Bold and the Beautiful fans will get lots more of the goings-on at Forrester Creations as CBS has renewed the veteran daytime drama for three seasons. The re-up keeps the serial, which launched in 1987, on the network through its 41st year in 2027-28.
The Bold and the Beautiful follows the entangled lives, passionate loves and high-stakes dramas of the Forrester, Logan and Spencer families, set against the backdrop of the glamorous Los Angeles fashion world and the family’s fashion house, Forrester Creations. It averages nearly 3.2 million viewers in Live+7 viewing, CBS said.

The show marked its 38th anniversary late last month, along with original cast members John McCook and Katherine Kelly Lang. To mark Heather Tom‘s 35th anniversary on the soap, the actress who plays Katie Logan Spencer will act, write and direct an all-female episode of the daytime drama — which is a first for the show and rare for the genre. Slated to air March 27, the Women’s History Month-themed episode will star Tom, Rebecca Budig, Annika Noelle, Katherine Kelly Lang, Jennifer Gareis and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood.
