‘The Valley’ Spinoff, Ladies Of London & Wife Swap Set At Bravo

-

Bravo is sticking with franchises for its new programming slate including the return of Ladies of London, a new spinoff of The Valley and an interesting mash-up reboot of Wife Swap.

Ladies of London, The Valley: Persian Style (w/t) and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition will be joined by a new iteration of The Real Housewives franchise set in Rhode Island.

Ladies of London previously ran for three seasons starting in 2014. It followed six women in the British capital and will be back with a “new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites”. The network didn’t reveal casting for the show.

The original series focused on Juliet Angus, Caprice Bourret, Marissa Hermer, Annabelle Neilson, Noelle Reno and Caroline Stanbury with Julie Montagu, Caroline Fleming and Sophie Stanbury joining during its run after Bourret, Reno and Neilson exited.

The series is produced by BBC Studios America – BBC-owned Adjacent Productions previously produced the show – with Ryan O’Dowd, Krystal Whitney, Craig Turner and Barrie Bernstein serving as exec producers.

The network also has a new spinoff of The Valley with former cast members of Shahs of Sunset.

Shahs of Sunset: Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, Reza Farahan, Mike Shouted, Destiney Rose, Nema Vand, Mercedes “MJ” Javid (Bravo)

The Valley: Persian Style will feature Reza Farahan, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes “MJ” Javid, who previously starred on the Ryan Seacrest-produced series that ran for nine seasons.

It will follow the trio as they “take on the next stage of life in the Valley”.

It comes a month after Bravo launched the second season of The Valley, which is itself a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules, which was a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Valley stars the likes of Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute and Brittany Cartwright from Vanderpump as well as other members.

The Valley: Persian Style is produced by 32 Flavors, Alex Baskin’s company that also produces The Valley and Vanderpump Rules. Baskin exec produces alongside Jenn Levy, Brian McCarthy, Jeff Festa, Joe Kingsley, Ian Gelfand and Lauren Simms.

There’s also a new show based on both Wife Swap and The Real Housewives. Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition will follow a member of The Real Housewives who must “take off her stilettos and step into a real housewife’s shoes”. The network didn’t reveal which housewife or housewives would appear.

Wife Swap, based on a Banijay format, ran for six seasons on ABC as well as two seasons on Paramount Network.

Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition is produced by Banijay-backed Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Jennifer Lane and Rebecca Hertz serving as exec producers.

Elsewhere, the network has renewed a number of its reality shows including Below Deck Med (Season 10), Below Deck Down Under (Season 4), Married to Medicine (Season 12), Southern Charm (Season 11), Southern Hospitality (Season 4), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Season 15), The Real Housewives of Orange County (Season 19), The Real Housewives of Potomac (Season 10) and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (Season 6).
