Walton Goggins just can’t quit The White Lotus. Even when visiting the Saturday Night Live studio in 30 Rock he seems obsessed with trying to figure out who among cast members will meet a grisly end in next week’s season finale.
At least that the premise in this week’s promo, with cast member Marcello Hernández trying to set the guest host straight. “These are real people,” Hernández said. “They’re not characters. It’s not that type of thing. No one is dying.”
“That’s exactly what someone who’s about to die would say,” Goggins responds. “I bet you get killed by Heidi.”
Well, not Heidi. But whoever it is really, really wants to play Domingo.
Goggins is making his SNL debut on May 10 and will be joined by Arcade Fire as musical guest. The band is releasing its new album, Pink Elephant, on May 9. They have appeared five times before.
