EXCLUSIVE: VMI Worldwide has boarded sales on Hollywood Heist starring Alec Baldwin and Nick Cannon.
VMI will introduce the film to buyers in Cannes.
From debut feature director Mike Hatton, Hollywood Heist also stars Til Schweiger, Tara Reid, and Paul Sloan. The film follows a Hollywood power agent (Cannon) trying to land an actor (Baldwin) by telling the story of his client, a movie producer (Hatton), along with a washed-up movie star pal (Sloan), as they race against time to save their latest production. This comes after the project’s bank account is wiped clean by a thief, leading to an onslaught of negotiations with famous actors, drug lords, and death.
Hatton penned the script with Sloan and is producing under his Ton of Hats banner alongside Akopyan, who is producing for Oscar Gold Productions. Ton of Hats and Oscar Gold financed the feature. Cannon is executive producing in association with his Ncredible Entertainment. Clyde Harris, Kimberly Hines, and Bret Terrill are also executive producers.

The deal was negotiated by Andre Relis and Jessica Russo on behalf of VMI and Mike Hatton and Asko Akopyan on behalf of the producing team.
“VMI is the perfect partner for this, and I can’t wait to bring something fun to The Croisette with them in front of an international audience at Cannes,” Hatton said.
